Red Cord Publishing was born from a simple conviction: too many powerful, God-given messages never make it to print. Cody Persell, a published author, deliverance minister, and entrepreneur, saw firsthand how many pastors, leaders, and everyday believers had stories and teachings that could change lives, but lacked the tools, time, or guidance to publish them.
Cody founded Red Cord Publishing to bridge that gap. He serves at River Church Family and brings that same heart for ministry into every publishing project he takes on.
His mission is straightforward: empower Christian voices, maintain the highest standard of quality, and ensure every author retains full ownership of their work.

Why Red Cord?
The red cord, or scarlet thread, is one of the most powerful recurring symbols in Scripture. From the blood of the Passover lamb painted on doorposts, to the scarlet cord Rahab hung from her window as a sign of faith and deliverance, to the crimson sacrifice of Christ on the cross, the red thread weaves through the entire Bible as a reminder of God's redemption.
We chose the name Red Cord because we believe every book we publish is part of that same thread. Each story, each teaching, each testimony adds to the tapestry of God's work in the world.
